We are so glad you are here...

Looking for a place to strengthen and grow your connection with God?

Ascension is an energetic and growing ELCA Lutheran Church with people of all ages – young and old. We invite you to just take that first step in getting to know our congregation and how we worship and serve God.

Easter is more than a day;  Easter is an entire worship season in the life of the historical church.  Easter is all about the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the promise of resurrected life for all who believe in Jesus.  A new life that begins now.

The them of "new life" is common to many of things on our minds these days - the message of Easter, the season of spring, and this historic time we are living through of trying to slowly and safely emerge from the pandemic and to return to more normal living again.

Our overall Easter season theme at Ascension is, “Arise in Christ!”
Life after the resurrection was not the same as it was before.  Each Sunday we are considering themes of “Returning to life again in a new day.”

On Sunday, April 25, we will be living out this theme of “returning to life again” by returning to in-person worship in the sanctuary.

Reopening In-person Worship, April 25
