Thanks for stopping by to see what's happening at Ascension.  We invite you to stop back often.  We'll be updating information as it becomes available.

We’re still here!  Although we may not be physically in our offices, we all are checking e-mails and voicemails on a regular basis.

IF YOU NEED ANYTHING, please don’t hesitate to call or email Pastor Lori or Susie Brekke, Member Connections.  We have a list of folks who have volunteered to drop of supplies to any member who has a need.  These folks want to help!

IMPORTANT: There is so much happening at Ascension, we couldn't fit it all on our announcement page.  Please be sure to read our January Tidings newsletter for all the details!!

The annual congregational meeting will be on Sunday, January 31 at 10:00 a.m.  We, like many other congregations, will be conducting our annual meeting this year via Zoom (a video conferencing platform).  If you need assistance installing or using Zoom on your device (cell phone, tablet, or computer), please contact Valerie in the church office (336-3561 ext 101) and she will help you connect with a tech support volunteer.  The annual report will be made available in digital form and shared with members via email by January 21.  If you need a printed copy of the report please contact Valerie.

Sunday Adult Bible Study – January 17 at 9:00  a.m.
We continue to deepen our understanding and skills at personal Bible study.  Knowing how to mine the riches of individual Bible study is so important for keeping spiritually healthy.  We schedule our Sunday Adult Bible Studies on those Sundays in which there is no outdoor worship or drive-up communion, but January 31 is when our Ascension Annual Meeting is being held, so there is also a time conflict for that Sunday.

Love Your Neighbor - Learning and Growing Together” will meet on
Wednesday, January 13 at 7:00 p.m.
This will be an opportunity to share thoughts about the programs we held this past fall, as well as to look forward together to the future. Whether you attended one or all of our programs (topics: demographics of Brown County, homelessness, immigration), we invite you to join us for a conversation about future topics for us to explore together.   The conversation will take place via Zoom, and you can register for this discussion via the following link:

The process of serving the lunch has changed due to Covid 19. We will not be preparing and serving lunch at the NEW Shelter until further notice.  However, we are providing donations of money to the shelter for the meals that we would normally prepare.  We are also providing homemade cookies on the dates we normally would serve.  So, anyone who is willing to make cookies for the shelter meal should contact the church office to arrange cookie drop off or pick up.

HOME SWEET HOME has started again on a limited basis and with some safety changes.  HSH volunteers will be contacted.  Questions?  Call the HSH phone:  920-784-7092

We have hand-made face masks available for members that need them.  If you need one, contact Valerie.  Let her know how many and sizes needed (adult or child).  She will pass your name on and someone will call you with information about where to pick up your mask/s.
