Our VBS week is open to Kids ages 3 and potty-trained through entering 5th grade in fall 2024. We invite you explore the details below. Click REGISTER at the bottom of this page to reserve your spot.

About VBS & VBS Day Camp
VBS:
WHO: Kids ages 3 yrs. and potty-trained through 1st grade*
WHEN: Monday - Thursday, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
WHAT: A week of crafts, games, snacks, and videos based on intriguing Bible stories, all designed to engage kids in the most important friendship of their lives-friendship with God.
NOTE: VBS kids who have siblings in the older full-day program or have approval from the VBS director team have the option to stay for the full day as well for an extra $15 for the week. Kids will need to bring a cold lunch if staying all day.
VBS DAYCAMP:
WHO: 2nd grade through 5th grade*
WHEN: Monday - Thursday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
WHAT: A unique Day Camp experience, complete with team building, service projects, games, Bible-based activities, snacks and other fun filled activities! Day Campers will need to bring a cold lunch.
* Ages based on the last completed grade in the 2023-2024 school year.

Registration price doubles after July 1st.
COST:
- $30 per child for VBS (ages 3yr - 1st grade)
- $45 per child for VBS plus Afternoons (3yr through 1st grader who is staying for the whole day…must have VBS Day Camp sibling or prior approval from VBS director team.)
- $45 per youth for Day Camp (grades 2-5)
- $95 max per family (includes both programs)

Volunteer Opportunities:
To create the best possible experience for our kids at VBS Day Camp, we need your help! You can help in small or large ways…by giving us a little of your time or a lot. Please prayerfully consider how you might best be able to help our Ascension youth to grow in Christ through VBS Day Camp this summer!
- VBS Volunteers can be older youth (entering 6th grade and up) or adults.
- Volunteers can help for 1, 2, 3, or all days.
- Volunteer Perks! Free nursery available for volunteer staff's children 0-2 years, plus the opportunity to connect with and make a difference to our youth at Ascension!
- Can’t help out DURING VBS? No problem! We’ve got lots of prep work for you to help with! We need help with contacting families, manning the registration table, supply gathering, decorating, making copies, getting materials ready for projects, and much more!

- Registration forms are available at the narthex info table or through the "REGISTER" link below.
- Payments (cash or check) and forms can be dropped off in the church office (please use the blue envelope provided) OR mailed to Ascension at 2911 Libal Street, GB, WI 54301.
